![]() Operating System: Arch Linux with xorg 1.19. Sound driver (directsound, xaudio, openal, SDL): OpenAL and SDL. Video driver (simple, opengl or cairo): Simple and OpenGL ![]() The story of Golden Sun is really nice but it has several holes in them. The soundtrack is simply sublime and only a few aspects of the game are letdowns. It uses GBA graphics that were thought to be impossible at that time. Which games, if any, are NOT affected by the issue: Every other game that I've tested. Game Description: Golden Sun is a JRPG that is absolutely astounding. Which games are affected by the issue: Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, both GBA games. In TLA, there's also a little cutscene before that with images and text, which you can skip with Start. Simply load any of the mentioned games and go through the initial naming screen. I haven't tested other versions but I think it's safe to assume it'll also happen with them. This seems to happen with both the english and japanese version and with both the original Golden Sun and its sequel (Golden Sun: The Lost Age). ![]() If you manage to get through the initial cutscenes somehow and control your character blindly so he can go to another screen, all of the above bugs happen, making the game completely unplayable. Scenery ends up glitchy when camera moves. Once Isaac's mother moves, her sprite also moves so much that she goes out of screen. Isaac's sprite, which should just jump out of the bed, goes right until it's off-screen. Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serie A club Inter Milan, on loan from Premier League club Chelsea. Actual behaviorĪs soon as you pass through the naming screen and the main character (Isaac) goes out of bed, everything in the game gets glitchy. Note that there is no additional reward for amassing a complete inventory in either game, excluding a secret dungeon and summon for collecting all Djinn from both games. The game should render the graphics and move sprites like the GBA does. It is possible to transfer all Golden Sun-exclusive items that the player is allowed to retain until the end of that game to The Lost Age. However, an advantage to the Gold password is that it unequips cursed items for free. In addition, while the Gold password transfers equipment unequipped and Djinn shuffled, the Cable transfers equipment and Djinn organized amongst the characters exactly as they were at the end of Golden Sun. The Game Link Cable transfers all of the above plus Pause menu settings. ![]() ![]() If you're trying to find one of those three characters, you copied something down wrong. The capital "I" ("eye"), the small "l" ("el"), the number "1", the capital and lowercase "O" and "o" respectively, and the number zero "0" are NOT used.Although this will be a pain to write down and fill in correctly, it does pay off enormously as you can transfer some items that you can't get in TLA, a notable example being the Cleric's Ring. The Gold password is obscenely long, weighing in at 260 characters. The Gold password transfers all of the above plus the total amount of coins Isaac's party has amassed at the end of Golden Sun and every item in the four characters' inventories. Useful if the player would like to get a head start on maxing out all stats/levels for Isaac's party, particularly if the transferred stats have been amassed through level-grinding in the first game. The Silver password transfers all of the above plus the exact stats of the original characters, so that stat boosts from items like Power Bread are not lost. The Bronze password transfers the characters' names, levels, Djinn collection, and the status of certain events so as to add and influence events in The Lost Age, such as Feizhi giving Felix the Golden Ring if Isaac rescued Hsu in the previous game. There are three grades of passwords: bronze, silver, and gold. ![]()
